OWNERSHIP
Homes4lease is owned and managed by Allan Garland. He was born and educated in Canada as a Chartered Accountant (CPA), where he worked for the Canadian affiliates of two Big Six accounting firms. Since emigrating to the US in 1969, he has worked exclusively in real estate related industries in Oklahoma City and Houston. His experience includes mortgage banking, commercial leasing and management, and residential leasing, management, and sales. He, and Homes4lease, LLC, are licensed brokers in the State of Oklahoma.

HISTORY
American Homes4lease began operations in as a commercial and multi-family management company in 1974. As American Properties / Amprop, it began single-family rental operations in 1989, when a Court-appointed Receiver selected it to manage 74 houses in foreclosure. The Company’s responsibilities required the removal of occupants from the houses, rehabilitation of the premises, and production of revenue for the receivership. Demand for these rental homes proved to be so exceptional, it was decided to offer this expertise to private owners. Homes4lease now has the largest portfolio of quality houses in Oklahoma City.

CURRENT STATUS
In early 2008, the Company provides leasing, management, and maintenance services to 225 separate owners, with 350 houses in their investment portfolios. The properties range from 1-bedroom condominiums to 4-bedroom luxury homes in all sectors of Oklahoma City and surrounding suburbs. Prices range from $400.00 to $2,000.00 per month, with an average of $875.00. They consistently achieve occupancies of 90%.
