OWNERSHIP

Homes4lease, LLC is owned and managed by John Terrell & Ray Callicott. They purchased the company in January 2009 from its original founder, Allan Garland, upon retiring. Ray Callicott is a home builder & John Terrell began working for Allan Garland in February 2006 in multiple capacities, earning his Provisional Sales Associate License that year, then his Sales Associate License the following year. Upon purchase of the company, he earned his Brokers License and is now Managing Broker for the Firm. He and Homes4lease, LLC both maintain an active Brokers License in the State of Oklahoma.

HISTORY

Homes4lease began operations in as a commercial and multi-family management company in 1974 under its original name, American Properties / Amprop. It began as a single-family rental operation in 1989, when a Court-appointed Receiver selected it to manage 74 houses in foreclosure. The Company’s responsibilities required the removal of occupants from the houses, rehabilitation of the premises, and production of revenue for the receivership. Demand for these rental homes proved to be so exceptional, it was decided to offer this expertise to private owners. The Company officially changed its name to Homes4lease, LLC in 2006, and currently has the largest portfolio of quality houses in Oklahoma City.

CURRENT STATUS

In early 2009, the Company provides leasing, management, and maintenance services to 225 separate owners, with 385 houses in their investment portfolios. The properties range from 1-bedroom condominiums to 4-bedroom luxury homes in all sectors of Oklahoma City and surrounding suburbs. Prices range from $400.00 to $2,000.00 per month, with an average of $930.00. They consistently achieve occupancies of over 90%.
